EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - Char Gariepy

Through this series, we aim to shine a light on the hard work and dedication of our employees, fostering a deeper sense of connection and appreciation within our workplace. Char has worked at the Munising Down Wind store for the last year and a half.
She lived downstate for 40 years before that and worked as an art teacher just north of Detroit.  After retiring, she moved back to Munising, the city where she grew up and says "being back has been great!" Char loves being closer to family again, visiting the beautiful Lake Superior everyday, and enjoying some of the hiking the area has to offer. She especially loves doing these things with good friends and her dog, Asher. One of her favorite spots she says is "Munising Falls; though, I'm sure having my wedding pictures taken there with my husband, Bill, might have something to do with it!"
